The Tristenbachalm in the idyllic Floitental offers a special experience for nature lovers and those seeking relaxation. This unique snack station is a popular excursion destination both in summer and winter. Whether for cozy hut evenings, romantic weddings, or lively parties – the Tristenbachalm ensures unforgettable moments in a wild and romantic mountain setting. A place that perfectly combines tradition, nature, and hospitality.

About two kilometers east and approximately 200 meters above the mountaineering village of Ginzling lies the Tristenbachalm. Here, where the Floitental widens again after a narrow gorge, the view opens up to the Floitenkees, the lowest glacier in the Eastern Alps. The valley is flanked by sheer rock walls that rise several hundred meters high.
In summer, lush alpine meadows and dense forests shape the landscape, while in winter, everything is cloaked in snowy white. The picturesque and at the same time wild setting of the Alm continually invites locals and visitors alike to pause and enjoy the view.
